Naughty Dog is a company that likes their stories. The creators of the Uncharted series have avoided coming out with downloadable content for the games, because they knew the temptation would be too great to create a brand new story. Turns out they know themselves pretty well, because Naughty Dog is finally releasing the very first ever Uncharted DLC with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy , and it’s a doozy.
The original story pitches for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy rounded out to a hefty 10 hours long. It’s appearing that the actual DLC itself will be around the same playtime. While this sounds like it must have been a ton of work for Naughty Dog, we’re not complaining about the long run-time.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is sort of a breakaway from the regular game entirely, as it won’t feature Nathan Drake in any way. It does however feature fan favorite character Chloe Frazer, and Nadine Ross. The Lost Legacy will follow these two gals through an adventure in India as they search for the Tusk of Ganesh.
Be prepared for some epic girl power moments if the announce trailer for the DLC is any indication. Skip to the end for the badassery. There’s no release date for The Lost Legacy yet, but we’re hoping it will be some time this year.
