The Bayonetta teaser site that we reported on last week has finally produced fruit! We guessed that maybe there was another Bayonetta game headed our way, or perhaps one or both of the older games was rereleasing. Turns out the latter was true. The original Bayonetta has appeared on PCs on Steam! It’s available right now in Digital Deluxe Edition form for $19.99.
Between now and April 25 at 6 PM GMT the Deluxe Edition will include a digital OST sampler, digital art book, wallpapers, and avatars. All of these special extras will be found in the “Extras” folder in the Bayonetta game folder of your Steam library. Bayonetta itself is a straight rerelease. There is no extra story content for the game, but it does display in full HD and run at around 60fps consistently throughout gameplay.
