If you’ve ever wanted to have Nintendo’s lovable, pink mascot on your butt, now is your chance. Peach John, a Japanese lingerie company, has collaborated with Nintendo once again to make some goofy-looking Kirby underwear and other accessories. Previously, Peach John made a line of Pokemon lingerie.
Included in the line are multiple kinds of underwear, a translucent, Kirby-shaped backpack, some pretty dope pajamas, and a bizarre, Kibry-shaped “mini one-pi” which looks like a really bad Halloween costume? There’s also a sleep mask, which is pretty rad too.
This is a very Japanese product, available only in Yummy Mart retailers. So if you feel compelled to dress head to toe in Kirby merch, you’ll have to do some legwork to get your hands on it. This is the series’ 25th anniversary, so good luck getting it at a decent price.
Kirby merchandise isn’t unheard of, but is uncommon compared to other big Nintendo characters. It’s cool to see the character getting the red carpet rolled out for it. Hopefully we see more little trinkets and doodads, especially localized ones, hitting retailers along with the new set of Kirby games.
