Grand Theft Auto Online has been all over video game news lately. Exclusive vehicles got unlocked for everyone, giving those who received them originally some extra in-game cash. There’s also some great sales going on at the moment, as well as a new premium race.Rockstar decided it wanted to keep the good news going today when it announced a new game mode.
Remember back to the games of past eras. You know, the era of the original Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 . Think back to that fun top-down camera view it had back then? Well remember no more, because now you can see it live and in stereo!
Grand Theft Auto Online is bringing the top-down perspective back with a new game mode dubbed Tiny Racers. There’s a trailer for the mode viewable here . Past what it says there, we don’t really know much else.
For those who can’t check out the video right now, you’ll be able to utilize the top-down scheme to take out your competitors by fighting dirty. The graphics are obviously updated to modern standards, and it looks like tiny little Matchbox cars racing through the city. GTA Online Tiny Racers will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs on April 25.
