Splatoon has been in the news here at Cheat Code Central a lot recently. There’s the tournament that will allow winners to go to the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year. There is of course the announcement via the Nintendo Direct that Splatoon 2 will be coming sometime in 2017. And more recently there’s some silly, but equally awesome news to share. The manga is coming to North America!
There is a Splatoon manga being released in Japan in CoroCoro Comic . American fans who are able to read Japanese have been able to enjoy the series, but now it’s time for the rest of us am I right? VIZ Media, the American publishers of greats like The Legend of Zelda and Tokyo Ghoul manga, have picked it up. It’ll be out in 2017. An exact release date has yet to arrive.
VIZ Media has asked us to join the Turf War, and I think I speak for all of us that we’d be happy to oblige. So keep an eye on its social media in the coming months, as that’s where they’ll let us know the final release date for the series.
