Activision Reveals Call of Duty: WWII Campaign Details

Activision Reveals Call of Duty: WWII Campaign Details

The worldwide reveal livestream for Call of Duty: WWII just concluded and brought us ton of news about the next iteration in the beloved series. Possibly most importantly, we’ve finally gotten a reveal trailer for the single player campaign. Within it is plenty of goosebump inducing scenes of real gameplay footage, and harrowing WWII battles.

We’ve learned that you’ll be playing as the inexperienced Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, but there will also be a mission that lets you play as a woman fighting in the French resistance. Talk about a role reversal! Call of Duty: WWII will feature the US 1st Infantry Division as they go through the European part of the titular war. The world-changing Normandy invasion on D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge will be featured.

So far we know that cooperative play in Call of Duty: WWII will most likely have its own story, but full details for multiplayer will not be given until E3 this June. It will also be when the game will be playable. We also know Josh Duhamel has a role in the game as Sergeant Pearson.

Last, but absolutely not least, this confirmed the leak information was true. Call of Duty: WWII will release November 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Those who pre-order they’ll be able to participate in a private beta.
