Burnout’s Crash Mode’s Becoming a Game

Burnout’s Crash Mode’s Becoming a Game

Being the best driver in racing games or open world affairs that allow us to hop in a car and drive around is great. It’s awesome to show off your stuff. But, it’s equally fun to tear around and wreck everything. A new game from Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, the former Criterion Games co-founders who know a thing or two about Burnout , will let people do exactly that Danger Zone is about the biggest crashes.

In fact, Ward and Sperry note that Danger Zone , the third game Three Fields Entertainment is creating, is 100% inspired by Burnout 3: Takedown’ s Crash Mode. There’s driving, sure, but this is really an action and puzzle game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC where players are popped in a crash test facility and need to cause all kinds of crashes.

Here’s why Danger Zone sounds so neat and Burnout fans should be excited. There will be 20 scenarios. Each one will have different maps, objectives, traffic conditions, and so on. You’ll want to use your car to cause a First Impact and basically makes it into a SmashBreaker bomb that will explode when it hits enough cars. Naturally, high scores will be involved.
