Hearthstone fans, you’ve got something awesome to work towards! The game type that hasn’t had any tournament love is finally getting recognized. Hearthstone ‘s Wild mode has never had a tournament, but Blizzard has finally announced one.
It’s super easy to enter the Hearthstone Wild competition. Blizzard is simply going to look at the May Legend ladder at the end of the month. Those that are in the top 64 for the Wild format will be invited to compete. There are no further details on the tournament. Since the competitors will be decided at the end of the month, it’s safe to say more information will come soon.
For those not entirely sure what the Wild format even is in Hearthstone , it’s a mode that allows players to use cards from any set in the game. The Standard format limits players to certain sets within the game. Obviously Wild is a little more, well, wild! It gives players the freedom to choose whatever cards they want though which leaves plenty of room for interesting strategies.
