Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Next Update Improves Photo Mode

Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Next Update Improves Photo Mode

Horizon: Zero Dawn remains a front-runner for many gamers’ game of the year for 2017. It’s a beautiful game with wonderful gameplay, and the updates that have been made since its launch only heighten its brilliance. The most recent Horizon: Zero Dawn update will be coming out next week and has tons of really big changes.

Interestingly enough, the most obvious changes are to the game’s Photo Mode. You’ll now be able to pose Aloy, change her facial expressions, make her look at the camera, and hide her inside settlements if you want to take photos of the environment. There are also three new filters to play around with, a grid overlay, and a “greetings from” text that you can add to your photos. These updates sound silly, but for a game so beautiful of course we want to take photos!

Among the other important features that will be added to Horizon: Zero Dawn is the ability to customize your HUD. You can hide certain markers, as well as filter the icons on the map. You can also categorize and sort your inventory, and hide Aloy’s headgear if you’d like. A final feature of the update we’d like to point out is the inclusion of Spanish language support to the North American copy of the game. You’ll be able to enable Spanish subtitles and download a Spanish voice-over pack from the North American PlayStation Store.

Keep an eye out for this update next week as it looks like it’s got a ton of awesome new features for the game. We can’t wait to try them out ourselves!
