Microsoft Kicks Up Phantom Dust HD Details

Microsoft Kicks Up Phantom Dust HD Details

The Xbox One doesn’t have as many exclusives as its contemporaries, which is why it is always so exciting when one does come up. Phantom Dust is one of these games. It’s an HD remaster of an Xbox game that is in development for the Xbox One and PC. And now we know a bit more about what will be different this time around.

A lot will be new or tweaked in Phantom Dust . You can start building decks faster in single-player and failing a mission three times in that mode will let you skip it and still get the reward. Microsoft’s servers will store Card data, for easier and faster rebalancing. It will be in 1080p on the console and 4K on PCs, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Also, there will of course be paid and free DLC.

Polygon ended up getting the exclusive reveal of the Phantom Dust remaster’s gameplay. If you have 19 minutes free, check it out.

I’m all for a HD remaster like this. Do this with so many Xbox games. I’d love to play Jade Empire or Sudeki again.
