With the popularity of video games comes the popularity of associated memorabilia. It’s safe to say we’ve all seen at least one figure that we just had to have. The biggest hard-stop to entry in the action figure collection world is price. Pop Culture Shock Collectibles is the creator of some of these such pricey sculptures. The franchise they have released figures for that we’re focusing on today is Street Fighter . They’ve had a $300 Chun-Li, a $500 Ken, and a $900 Ryu. And now, there will be three other uber-pricey statues to rival Ryu! A full-release of the newest Street Fighter figure will be coming on May 14, but we’ve got a sneak peek at a $900 Chun-Li.
Three versions of the $900 Chun-Lis will be coming our way. The 1:3 scale figures will stand 30 inches tall. That’s pretty impressive! Not only that, but each variation of Chun-Li will feature a different costume: PCS Classic Qipao, PCS Alpha, and PCS Battle Dress. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity and is estimated to ship sometime in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Yes that’s a long time to wait for anxious fans paying $900 a pop, but there is something really cool about these statues. They will be limited to at most 350 pieces. There’s only a few more days to a full release of Chun-Li so watch out for it!
