According to a freelance writer that is working with BioWare, a new Dragon Age game is officially in the works. Electronic Arts has not confirmed anything and neither has BioWare yet, but the writer, Alexis Kennedy, has said that he is working on the Dragon Age franchise.
Considering Dragon Age Inquisition came out in 2014, it’s not that far-fetched to say that a new entry in the franchise is coming soon. Kennedy hasn’t been able to say anything explicitly about the BioWare project he’s been working on, but little hints have been offered along the way as to what it was. When he started working with the company the executive producer for Dragon Age tweeted about him with the phrase, “Welcome to Dragon Age .”
While it’s been a poorly kept secret, Kennedy still kept his lips tightly sealed until now. It wouldn’t be surprising if an announcement came from BioWare or EA in the near future. E3 is a prime suspect for such a thing, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
