Xbox Game Pass is a really interesting service proposed by Microsoft a while back. It’s been called Netflix for games many times, because it’s a streaming service. But really it’s more like an updated version of GameFly streaming. Xbox’s Game Pass will allow players to download games from a set library of titles that they can play all they want. If they decide they want to buy the game somewhere down the line, they’ll get a 20% discount. Much like Netflix, new games in the Xbox Game Pass service will be removed or added each month. If you’ve got Xbox Live Gold, get to your consoles to give Xbox Game Pass a try! Everyone else, you don’t have much longer to wait, your free trial opportunity will start June 1.
This service will normally cost $10 per month, as it’s not included with Xbox Live Gold. However, Microsoft is offering a 14-day free trial. Past that you’ll have to pay the $10 subscription service to keep enjoying it. In weird news, T-Mobile subscribers will get a free month starting sometime.
