Activision Launches Bizarre Crash Bandicoot Merchandise

If you’ve ever wondered to yourself, “Huh, I wish I could have Crash Bandicoot scented candles,” buddy, have I got some great news for you. Numskull, a merchandising company associated with other big brands such as Marvel, Star Wars and Resident Evil , have launched a partnership with Activision to promote the upcoming Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy .

For the most part, it’s pretty innocuous stuff. You can get hats, shirts, keychains, and mugs, all with Crash Bandicoot characters slapped all over them. However, the more adventurous Crash Bandicoot fans can also purchase a set of scented candles in the shape of the series’ trademark crates. These candles are around $40, and “each candle has its own distinct fragrance inspired by the game.” Considering Crash Bandicoot is about a gross-looking rodent-man and exploding crates, your guess is as good as mine as to what “inspired by Crash Bandicoot ” could possibly smell like.

If playing a new remastered set of the original Crash Bandicoot series isn’t enough for you, here’s your chance to relive those nostalgic memories, branded all over your body.
