No Beyond Good and Evil 2 News at E3

No Beyond Good and Evil 2 News at E3

Beyond Good & Evil fans have been waiting years for news on the sequel, and it wasn’t long ago we got some form of confirmation it, at least, exists. Michel Ancel, the mind behind the series (and Rayman , for those of you keeping score), has both good and bad news. Beyond Good & Evil 2 won’t be at E3. However, we will be hearing more about the game later on in the year.

Bizarrely, this comes from the comment section of one of Ancel’s Instagram posts . In the comment, in response to a fan, he said, “not sure that E3 would be the best place to showcase BG&E2 but we’re working on the game so sometime this year, you should hear about it!”

The saga of Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been a long one. The original game was a cult classic of sorts, not quite a huge success but enough to garner a dedicated following. The sequel was announced way back in 2008, and was subject to rumors and problems ever since. However, in 2016 Ancel publicly stated the game was back on track, and moving forward properly.
