Sony’s 2017 E3 Event to be Shown in Theaters

Sony’s 2017 E3 Event to be Shown in Theaters

E3 is coming up, which means all the news about the press briefings and how to watch them is making its way out into the world. This year, Sony is again holding a limited theatrical event in which dedicated folks can go to a participating theater and watch the Sony “E3 Experience 2017” on the big screen. Better yet, if you can get in fast enough, it’s free.

This is the third year that Sony has done this, and over 85 movie theaters in the United States, Canada and Latin America are participating. Attendees will receive a poster and the #76 card from the PlayStation Collectible Card gimmick. These items will be exclusive to this event, according to Sony. Attendees will also receive some sort of gift package full of digital content from the PlayStation Store.

Beginning today, tickets for these events in the United States and Canada can be obtained by visiting the E3 Experience website. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis so a ticket does not guarantee entry. For Latin America, details will be released later on the Brazilian PlayStation Blog. The briefing will take place on Monday, June 12 at 6 PM PT/9PM ET.
