SNK games have been making the rounds across various console platforms over the past few years, and after filling out the Switch’s virtual library, the collection has set its sights on the GOG platform. A set of 15 old-school SNK arcade games is now available on GOG, and as always, GOG releases are DRM-free. These games can be purchased a la carte, but have also been divided into three bundles. All three of which are 75% off until June 5.
In the ” METAL SLUG Bundle,” you get, well, Metal Slug ! This bundle comprises Metal Slug 1, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3, and Metal Slug X . Each game supports GOG Galaxy support, including leaderboards. Each game, except Metal Slug 2, also has local and online multiplayer. It is normally $23.96, but is temporarily on sale for $5.96.
The “Fighting Classics Bundle” is also aptly named. This pack includes pretty much everything you’d expect from a SNK fighting games bundle: Fatal Fury Special , Samurai Shodown 2 , Samurai Shodown V , The Last Blade , The King of Fighters 2000 and The King of Fighters 2000 Classic . It is normally $35.94, but is temporarily $8.94.
Finally, the “Arcade Games Bundle” is kind of a mashup of everything else. This set includes some shooters, some sports titles and a couple other oddities you hear about less often. You get Blazing Star , Baseball Stars 2 , King of the Monsters , Shock Troopers and Twinkle Star Sprites . It is $7.95 right now, but that price will go up to $29.95 when the sale ends.
If you don’t want bundles, there’s another SNK game sale. Each one is 50% off until June 5. As for GOG Galaxy functionality, each one’s compliance varies.
