Lego Dimensions is a unique NFC franchise. Instead of a new iteration each year, the base game keeps getting new packs and expansions. The first year of Lego Dimensions releases happened between September 2015 and March 2016. The current year, Year Two, started in September of 2016 and will continue into September 2017. On September 15, Beetlejuice, The Powerpuff Girls , and Teen Titans Go are on the way!
The Beetlejuice minifigure and Saturn’s Sandworm Fun Pack will unlock a themed open adventure world as well as a multiplayer battle arena. The Powerpuff Girls will be represented in their own adventure world and battle arena where they will have vehicles and gadgets all their own. A Team Pack will be available that includes Blossom and Bubbles, while a Fun Pack will have Buttercup.
The final franchise announced is Teen Titans Go! They will also have their own adventure world, but they will also have an original episode that shows how they came to be in the Lego Dimensions universe. The Teen Titans Team Pack will have Raven and Beast Boy, while the Fun Pack will include Starfire.
Which remaining franchise are you most looking forward to in Lego Dimensions ? The choice is obvious for me: Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
