Players of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will find this news old hat, as they are the only ones who can currently play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. However, everyone else, it's time to get hyped!
A while back, GameFly post a listing for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, and it would appear Amazon Japan has followed suit. The Amazon listing shows the game launching on June 20 for PlayStation 4, and then July 20 for Xbox Ones. The delay between console releases could be due to an exclusivity deal between Activision and Sony. Their previous deal stated that Call of Duty DLC would release on PS4 before going to other platforms, so this might be tied to that.
Modern Warfare Remastered took the 2007 original Call of Duty game and updated the graphics. It also modernized the multiplayer mode. There's no official confirmation of Modern Warfare Remastered coming on its own, but here's hoping these listings turn out to be true!
