There have been rumors circulating lately about a new version of the PlayStation 4 Slim. It has finally been confirmed. It would appear, according to a leaked Target ad, that the PlayStation 4 Slim gold edition is a real thing.
There’s no confirmation from any official sources that this is really going to happen. But the Target ad gives us an idea of release date and price. The ad is for the week of June 11, so that might be the first day we see the gold member of the PlayStation 4 family. It’s also listed as being on sale for $249.99. The regular price is listed as $299.99. The gold version of the PS4 supposedly has 1TB of storage.
There’s also a gold PS4 controller available for purchase. It looks like it will be on sale for $39.99 through Target the first week of release. So if you’ve been looking forward to the gold version of the PS4 Slim, now’s going to be your chance! Odds are, they’ll be confirmed just ahead of E3!
