Fans of Bethesda unite! Here’s just one more reason to fall in love with the publishing and developing giant all over again. Bethesda is teaming up with Twitch to provide some extra goodies for their fans. Starting with their E3 showcase on June 12, Bethesda will be rolling out different facets of their Twitch Drops program one drop at a time.
During the June 12, 2017 Bethesda E3 conference, Twitch viewers can participate in the first instance of the Twitch Drops program. You just have to link your Twitch account to your Bethesda.net account, and you’ll be registered for Twitch Drops. Then, just watch the E3 livestream. You could win card packs and in-game currency for The Elder Scrolls: Legends .
On June 14, Bethesda will be expanding Twitch Drops to those who are streaming The Elder Scrolls: Legends . So long as you have linked your accounts as mentioned before, you will be capable of winning Twitch Drops while live streaming the game.
Past that, Bethesda has plans to initiate Drops for any Bethesda title that is powered by Bethesda.net. Hopefully, in the future, we’ll have an even larger library of titles to stream for Drops. But you should always be able to win Drops by watching official Bethesda livestreams.
Sounds like an interesting program. Maybe it will lead to other similar company match-ups with Twitch and even more free stuff! I mean, literally no one dislikes free stuff.
