Well if it wasn’t obvious that this thing was happening by now, we now have hard evidence that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is definitely coming out as a standalone release. We even have rumblings of a sooner-than-you-may-expect release date. Charlie Intel, a site dedicated to all things Call of Duty , claims a “tipster” sent along a photograph showing off a physical, retail release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered . The box art seems legitimate, complete with a quote from Inquisitr stamped on the back.
The “tipster,” an unidentified retail employee, also claims that in their store’s system, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is listed as a June 27 release. Previous reports suggested today, June 20, but obviously that didn’t work out.
Out in the wild, specifically at Target, folks have spotted price tag stickers for the game on shelves already. It looks like C all of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will drop at the pseudo-budget price of $39.99.
