Marketing Company Leaks Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Marketing Company Leaks Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Whoops! The information gatekeepers over in the Tomb Raider world just can’t catch a break. If it wasn’t bad enough that an unfortunate employee trying to get some work done on a subway got his laptop camera-phoned, now a California marketing company known as Take Off seemingly, accidentally posted some rough marketing materials for Shadow of the Tomb Raider on its website.

These marketing materials are in the conceptual stage and are showing different logo possibilities, albeit using older, placeholder art from Rise of the Tomb Raider as proof of concept. Several pieces of key art for Shadow of the Tomb Raider are also included, likely as explorative concepts for what will ultimately be the primary marketing imagery for magazines, box art, and so on and so forth.

The key art is rough of course, but does show off a bit of potential scenery and equipment. Lara is shown in cool action poses in ruins, in front of what may be pyramids, wielding her trademark bow as well as a machete or sword.

Take Off’s website has sense been set to “down for maintenance,” as the company likely is in an unfortunate state of damage control.
