Sony Confirms New Sucker Punch Game in Development

Sony Confirms New Sucker Punch Game in Development

Sucker Punch, the developer most known for the Infamous series, has been quiet for a long time. While the developer had a surprising lack of stage presence (or any presence at all) during E3 2017, there were some less than quiet discussions about what’s next for the developer. PlayStation WorldWide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida paid a visit to the Gamespot booth at E3, and while he was there he managed to let a little hint slip about what Sucker Punch is up to.

While he didn’t give away much, he did say that not only is Sucker Punch actively working on something, but it’s very playable at this stage and he has personally had hands-on time with it. Yoshida said, “”I have played many, many more times of such game; and every time I play … I shouldn’t be talking any more. It is a game. They are not making movies. It is now very narrow.”

Obviously that isn’t much to go on, but considering we last heard from Sucker Punch with 2014’s Infamous: First Light , it’s good to know that everyone there is still kicking.
