New Characters Announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ

The content rollout for Dragon Ball FIghterZ continues, ping-ponging back and forth between Japan and North America. After the confirmation of Trunks and closed beta info from EVO 2017, the latest issue of Japan’s V-Jump has revealed the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster is expanding to the supporting cast.

Krillin and Piccolo are the latest additions and are some of the most important members of the Dragon Ball cast from as far back as the beginning of the story. Mentioned in the article is Krillin’s signature Destructo Disc technique, which can be charged in the game and has unblockable properties to some degree.

Also announced in the article is the use of chibi character’s in Dragon Ball FighterZ ’ online structure. This is similar in nature to Guilty Gear Xrd ’s online modes. Characters can control chibi characters as they interact with each other before entering real matches.

With Piccolo and Krillin, we’re starting to see more diversity in the cast, which previously only included high-power protagonists and key villains. Who would you want to see next?
