Telltale Games May Be Preparing Batman Season Two

Telltale Games is going to be at San Diego Comic Con, and some external noise suggests the company may be preparing to announce a new Batman game. On Twitter, Telltale posted that the company will be providing news during the huge convention with an image attached, labeled “Summer 2017 Update.” Speculation has been going wild of course, but some evidence points directly at the Caped Crusader.

The Film and Labeling Body of New Zealand recently posted a rating for a game called Batman: The Enemy Within . It just so happens to list Kent Mudle as director. Mudle works for Telltale and has The Walking Dead: Michonne and Telltale’s Game of Thrones tied to his name to some extent.

The Film and Video Labelling Body isaffiliated with the Office of Film and Literature Classification, which is the New Zealand governing body for things like movie and video game ratings, not unlike our MPAA or ESRB. All public-facing products must be submitted through this organization in order for it to be available for purchase. So, that’s a pretty good indication this thing is real.
