Ghost Recon: Wildlands to Get PvP Mode this Fall

Ghost Recon: Wildlands to Get PvP Mode this Fall

Ubisoft has been winning all kinds of fans lately with their game Ghost Recon: Wildlands . It’s had a bevy of free downloadable content throughout its release. Most recently, Ubisoft is looking to finally introduce player-versus-player to the game. The update, dubbed Ghost War, will be releasing some time this fall.

In Ghost War you will not play as your character from the single-player experience. Instead, you’ll choose from a bunch of classes and fight on open maps from there. Don’t expect to get the same experience you do from the campaign of Ghost Recon: Wildlands , because Ubisoft says the 4v4 PvP will not play the same. There are at least two new mechanics that Ubisoft has already mentioned and potentially more. Ghost War will include suppressing fire and sound markers.

If this sounds interesting to you, there will be a chance to check it out earlier ahead of the official release. Ubisoft says there will be an open beta for Ghost War on all platforms. This will be taking place some time this summer, but there’s no conclusive date yet. Keep an eye out on Ubisoft’s online presence to see when the Ghost War open beta might be happening.
