Middle-earth: Shadow of War Goes Mobile This Fall

Middle-earth: Shadow of War Goes Mobile This Fall

It would appear Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has been incredibly busy lately. They’re already working with Monolith Productions to release Middle-earth: Shadow of War on consoles and Windows this October. As it turns out, they were also quietly cooperating with IUGO Mobile Entertainment to release a version of Middle-earth: Shadow of War on mobiles.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War mobile will have players fighting in real-time battles against the greatest of Lord of the Rings ‘ enemies, Orcs. Users will also gather champions to fight with Talion as he tries to create an Orc army. The well-known Nemesis System from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be finding its way to mobiles for the first time via this game as well.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War mobile pre-registration is open already for both Apple and Android devices. Players who pre-register for the Apple version of the game will get an exclusive bundle that includes Ratbag and an Orc starter army. Those who pre-register on Android devices get the chance to play as Shelob in her humanoid form. This will be the first time she’s playable on any platform. Other popular playable characters in the game for everyone will include Celebrimbor, Eltariel, Gimli, and Boromir.

There’s no solid date yet for the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of War mobile, but it will be sometime this fall. At that point it will be available for iPhones and iPads from the Apple App Store, and for Android devices via the Google Play store. Who’s going to pre-register?
