Rez is Resurrected on PCs with Rez Infinite

Let’s hearken back to an older age of video games. One not too old, but not recent either. The “just right” period of time that I’m talking about is the 2000’s. A game released first in 2001 that shook a genre. Rez originally launched for the Sega Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. A rail shooter to rival all rail shooters, it was a mix between the classic rail shooter genre and rhythm games. Shooting and electronic music combined for something truly unique.

Rez saw some other releases over the years, but now it’s finally coming to PCs. As of today, Rez lives again as Rez Infinite . You can play Rez Infinite the old school way with a controller in hand, or you can play it new school with a mouse and keyboard. An even newer addition to the the classic game is the ability to play in virtual reality. Rez Infinite is compatible with the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Oculus Rift DK2. A better marriage could not be had in combining it with virtual reality.

If you didn’t get a chance to play Rez in any of its original forms, this is your best option now. There are so many different ways to play Rez via the PC version, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you want to pick it up through Steam, it’s on sale for $19.99 until August 16. At that point, it will jump up to its regular price of $24.99.
