Imaginarium Productions, the motion capture studio behind the successful new Planet of the Apes film series, recently opened up Imaginati Studios. It is a game development house based in London. Today the studio announced its first game: Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier .
Using the same performance capture tech used in the movies, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is set between Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes . The story is about a group of apes who breaks off from the main faction and resides in the Rocky Mountains. Supply issues force the apes to venture into human territory.
The game will see players taking control of both humans and apes. There will have multiple endings based on decisions made throughout the course of the game. This fall, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier will drop on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
