Bethesda took a lot of heat when they came out with their paid mods idea, and they were sent back to the drawing board. After some time to think long and hard about what they did, Bethesda announced their Creation Club. Now, it's finally starting to be initiated with Fallout 4. Items are purchased with credits and everyone gets some to start, but after that they'll be bought with real money.
The launch items that are included in Fallout 4's Creation Club are Chinese Stealth Armor, Hellfire Power Armor, a Space Suit based on Morgan from Prey, and Power Armor for horses. This armor in particular is making its rounds along the Internet because it's created from Giddyup Buttercup parts. Other items include a backpack that gives players more storage (yay!), two new weapons, and some new paint schemes for the Pip-Boy and Power Armor.
The coolest thing about Creation Club for those who aren't up to date on the news is that all its content works perfectly with everything. You know how some fan made mods can make your regular game kinda glitchy? These curated additions from the Creation Club won't have that problem. You'll be able to use these items with the regular game and official add-ons. You'll also be able to get achievements while using Creation Club items.
If you check out Fallout 4 on your PC right now, you'll be able to enjoy the Creation Club in beta. It's also on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will also have Bethesda's Creation Club starting some time next month.
