South Park: The Fractured But Whole Special Editions Detailed

The sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth has been taunting us for years now. But South Park: The Fractured But Whole will finally be releasing on October 17. With a franchise this well-loved and a sequel this anticipated, there’s bound to be tons of pre-orders, right? Well here’s a round-up of all the things you can collect with South Park: The Fractured But Whole .

Pre-ordering the game in general will get you a download code for the first game in the series, as well as an in-game assistant, Towelie: Your Gaming Bud. Those who pre-order a digital version of the game will get to start playing South Park: The Stick of Truth right away. Those who want to wait for a physical copy won’t be able to play the original game until the sequel releases.

If you’re super excited about playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole , but you also like collectibles and in-game bonuses, then you might want to consider one of the game’s special editions. There are three versions of the Gold Edition of South Park: The Fractured But Whole . The digital version will get you the season pass for the game, some costumes, and a bonus perk. The Steelbook Gold Edition of The Fractured But Whole will have everything from the digital version as well as a steelbook case, and three postcards. The regular Gold Edition for the game will have the season pass, in-game costumes, bonus perk, three postcards, and a six-inch figure of “The Coon.”

There’s also a Collector’s Standard Edition for The Fractured But Whole that will have the game, the three post cards, and The Coon figure. Amazon is selling the Remote Control Coon Mobile Bundle exclusively. This comes with everything in the Steelbook Gold Edition as well as a (you guessed it) remote controlled Coon Mobile.

The only other special exclusives are for those who pre-order The Fractured But Whole through the PlayStation Store. This pre-order will get you six bonus avatars: Butters, Cartman, Coon and Friends, Kenny, Kyle, and Stan.

Amazon Prime or Gamers Club Unlocked members will be able to get the game and any of its special editions for slightly cheaper than everyone else. So if you’ve got one of those memberships, make sure you buy the game from either Amazon or Best Buy.
