Build-A-Bear Workshop’s successful Pokemon line is seeing another new special edition stuffed animal bundle. This time it is for the popular Meowth. It’s the fifth Pokemon in the toy company’s partnership and comes in multiple SKUs.
Exclusively through the Build-A-Bear Workshop website, a bundle can be purchased for $60. The bundle includes Meowth, a sound box, and two costumes. In stores, Meowth by itself can be purchased for $28 and one of the costumes, a Quick Ball hoodie, is also available for $12.50. The sound box and other costume, a Team Rocket hoodie, are exclusive to the online bundle.
Another couple of points of interest are that buying a Build-A-Bear online comes pre-stuffed. So if the store’s gimmick of using the stuffing machine is important, you’ll have to weigh that against the exclusive accessories. Also, Meowth comes with a promotional Pokemon card, just like the previous entries in the line.
In addition, a sale is in effect. There is an in-store offer where if you buy two Pokemon plushes, you pay $45. Meowth is included, as are Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, and Squirtle.
