The Witness Goes Mobile

The Witness Goes Mobile

If you’ve ever played the popular indie game Braid , then you probably recognize the name Jonathan Blow. He’s the creator, and he’s since released another game that has been doing incredibly well. This title is The Witness . The big news regarding The Witness is that it’s just been released on iOS! This comes a year after the game’s PC and console launch.

The Witness is a single-player puzzle game that takes place on an open-world island. There are over 500 puzzles for players to solve, and the visuals are artistically pleasing to the eye. It was previously available for $39.99, but this iOS version is a much cheaper $9.99. This makes sense, since many (myself included) won’t pay much more for mobile games.

It would appear that the iOS version of The Witness is just as gorgeous as everyone has come to expect of it. Not only that, but there are certain puzzles within that were practically made for mobiles. Some have the player tracing lines, which will be much easier on phones or tablets. Seeing as it just released, there aren’t a lot of player feedback comments quite yet. But if you’ve got ten bucks to spare and an Apple product running iOS 10.0 or later, it should give you your money’s worth in puzzles.
