Battle.net Android and iOS App Available

Battle.net Android and iOS App Available

With all of the Battle.net name change confusion behind us, Blizzard can finally move on to new things. Right now, this means a mobile app for those who wish to take the social aspect of their gaming on the go. Rather than having to swap phone numbers or emails, Blizzard game players can now communicate via app.

The free mobile app is available for either iOS or Android from their respective stores. All of the features you know and love from the desktop version of Battle.net will be availble here. This includes mobile chat, the ability to send and receive friend requests, and also access to a friends list that shows who’s playing what. The newest addition exclusive to the Battle.net mobile app is a QR code scanner. You won’t have to type and search for friends, but rather you’ll be able to scan their QR code and add them instantly.

You can pick up the Battle.net app effective immediately from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. Use it to your advantage to plan how to tackle the next World of Warcraft dungeon with your friends. Or maybe you’ll plan times to battle with or against your friends in Overwatch . How you use the Battle.net app is up to you. What will you do with it?
