The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia Releasing April 2018

The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia Releasing April 2018

To anyone that’s been paying attention, Dark Horse Comics teamed up with The Legend of Zelda to release a trilogy of informative tomes. The first was released in 2013 and dubbed Hyrule Historia . The second, Art & Artifacts, released last February. And April 24, 2018 will mark the sale of the third and final book in the trilogy. The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia will have 320 pages and will cover the history of the franchise from the original game up to Twilight Princess HD .

If you were hoping for some inclusion of the most recent games like Breath of the Wild , you’re unfortunately out of luck. But The Legend of Zelda has been around for quite some time, and hardcore fans will likely love to own this trilogy of history. The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia ‘s aim is to be even more detailed than Hyrule Historia . There will be all kinds of in-depth information on the history of the series, including rare facts and developmental sketches. The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia even has an interview with Eiji Aonuma, the producer of the series. The interview is exclusive to this book.

If you’re interested in owning The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia , it’s available for pre-orders via the Dark Horse Comics website. Buying straight from the source will cost $39.99. However, you can also pick it up from other websites like Amazon for even cheaper. The first two books in this trilogy had limited edition versions, so it’s safe to say this installment probably will too. At the least, the regular covers look beautiful as well.
