Dragon Ball FighterZ Release Date Announced

Dragon Ball FighterZ Release Date Announced

Last week, two more characters and the Japanese release date (February 1, 2018) for Dragon Ball FighterZ were announced in V-Jump. This morning, Bandai Namco announced the western release date. This was joined by details regarding pre-orders, the season pass, and a couple different versions that will be available when buying the game digitally.

First, Dragon Ball FighterZ will hit North America on January 26, 2018, almost a week before it launches in Japan. This release date encompasses all available platforms, including the Steam version. Bandai Namco also announced two new digital versions of the game.

The first is the FighterZ Edition, which costs $94.99. It comes with the FighterZ Pass, which is the branded season pass that adds 8 characters to the game, relevant stamps, alternate colors, and lobby avatars. The second new SKU is the Ultimate Edition. This comes with the above, plus a Commentator Voice Pack and an Anime Music Pack. The latter is a pack of 11 songs from the original Dragon Ball Z anime, including some of the theme songs and background music.
