Warner Bros. Publishing Rocket League Now

A physical version of Rocket League has been available for a while now, from publisher 505 Games. Dubbed Rocket League Collector’s Edition , the box came with a few bonuses and DLC from the time of release. But Rocket League is set to re-debut at retail, this time with backing from a much larger publishing house.

Rocket League developer Psyonix has announced Warner Bros. will be re-publishing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Rocket League this holiday season. This will be an “updated” version of Rocket League , although no details have been provided yet as to what that means.

Jeremy Dunham of Psyonix alluded to this being the “next level” for Rocket League, in terms of the size of the push this version will get. The publisher previously collaborated on Batman v Superman -themed DLC.

There’s also no mention of the upcoming Nintendo Switch version, which is also set to come out later this year.
