Destiny 2 Expansion 2 Set for Spring 2018

Destiny 2 Expansion 2 Set for Spring 2018

Bungie, the developers of Destiny 2 , revealed at Paris Games Week that the first DLC for the game will be arriving soon. Curse of Osiris isn’t the only exciting thing to be announced, however. Bungie also revealed that the second DLC for Destiny 2 will be releasing in spring of 2018. While it’s a ways off, it’s nice to have a window to look forward to, right?

There’s no name for the second DLC as of yet; it’s currently be referred to as Expansion 2. With this announcement, it would seem that Bungie has plans to continue with a similar release schedule as they did with the original Destiny . This would make Expansion 2’s “spring 2018” release date likely to come out in the month of April or May.

Past that guess, there is practically nothing known about this second DLC. A logo for the Warmind Rasputin has been connected to Expansion 2, but there’s no telling how that will connect to the story within the DLC. If Bungie does stick with the schedule and plan they used with Destiny , the third DLC after Expansion 2 should be even larger than its predecessors.

In the meantime, Destiny 2 fans have the Curse of Osiris to look forward to. It’s releasing on December 5, 2017, so the wait isn’t too long. Are you amped for all this Destiny 2 DLC news? Or are you content to stick with the base game for now?
