Horizon: Zero Dawn Crossing Over with Monster Hunter: World

Horizon: Zero Dawn Crossing Over with Monster Hunter: World

During Sony’s Paris Games Week presentation, Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World took up quite a big chunk of time. With good reason too, as not only was the beta testing timeframe announced, but crossover DLC was shown featuring a hot, new Sony IP.

Exclusively for the PlayStation 4 version of Monster Hunter: World , Horizon: Zero Dawn ’s Aloy will be making an appearance in the form of a bow weapon and full armor set. The armor set even includes a skin for the player character’s face, effectively making Aloy playable. This content will be paired with a “collaboration event quest,” which will provide the items needed to craft the special armor and weapon. No date on this content has been provided, but it has confirmed to be launching after Monster Hunter: World’s debut.

Also, the beta test will be launching, exclusively for PlayStation 4 users, starting on December 9, 2017. The beta will run for three days and let players try three different quests both on and offline. The press release does not mention a closed or open beta.
