If you’re still on the fence about jumping into the world of grinding equipment drops and Bright Engrams in Destiny 2 , you may have missed out on some pretty solid Black Friday deals. However, Bungie has something else for you. Starting today, players across all platforms will be able to take Destiny 2 for a quick spin through a new Free Trial demo.
The demo is available across both consoles and even the later-released PC version. It allows players to start Destiny 2 for free and play through the first two planets of the campaign, as well as play around in The Farm. Both planets will allow both campaign missions and Adventures, and The Farm will allow limited access to the Crucible.
The Free Trial version of the Crucible limits players to Quickplay matches, but they can join a Clan and earn XP like anyone else. The caveat, of course, is a hard limit on progression, stopping you once you hit level 7. Naturally, should Destiny 2 Free Trial players opt to make the plunge, they’ll be able to pick up right where they leave off in the full game.
