Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Features Xenosaga’s KOS-MOS

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the most anticipated Nintendo Switch game yet to be released this year. It’ll be hitting consoles on December 1, 2017, and Nintendo has been revealing Rare Blades for the game since its announcement. The last and final Blade was revealed today via Xenoblade Chronicles 2 ‘s Twitter account, and the denizens of the Internet (myself included) are in an uproar.

The last and final Rare Blade to be announced by Nintendo for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is none other than KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga series. It’s not very often that KOS-MOS appears outside of the Xenosaga series, so of course fans are incredibly excited. Couple that with the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is shaping up to be a great game, and Xenosaga Trilogy remake rumors are in the wind, and this is a stunningly beautiful announcement.

There was no further information shared about the KOS-MOS Re: Rare Blade today, but the game’s release isn’t too far off. So hopefully we’ll either get more information soon, or at the least utilize her in the game soon. What we do know is that KOS-MOS Re: in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has been designed by Kunihiko Tanaka, who worked on Xenogears , Xenosaga: Episode I , and Xenoblade Chronicles X . KOS-MOS Re: will also be voiced by Mariko Suzuki who played KOS-MOS in the original Xenosaga series.

How do you feel about this announcement? Are you super psyched? Check out the teaser trailer for KOS-MOS Re: at the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Twitter account below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
