If you haven't checked out ARMS on the Nintendo Switch yet, you probably at least know someone who has. So for either you or your friend, you'll want to pay attention. A new playable character has been added into ARMS today. He'll seem familiar, as he's already been in the game, but now you can take control!
Springtron is the new playable character in ARMS today. He was previously visible in the 3.2 version of the game. Those who got a perfect run in the Grand Prix mode of ARMS would then have the chance to take on Springtron in a boss fight. Now you'll be able to take control of the fighter whose Arms are the same as Spring Man's. When you unlock new arms for Spring Man, they will also immediately become available for Springtron.
Previous playable characters that have been added to ARMS include Max Brass, Lola Pop, and Misango. Springtron is the fourth but very clearly not the last. Misango was only introduced last week, so Springtron's release comes as a rapid and major surprise. The regularity of Nintendo's updates to ARMS should make potential buyers feel safe in knowing that ARMS will be continuously fun for quite some time into the future.
