LawBreakers Developer Boss Key’s Co-founder Leaves

Arjan Brussee, co-founder of LawBreakers developer Boss Key, has left the company. He has reportedly moved to Epic Games, where he worked in the 90’s before moving on to Guerilla Games and EA Visceral. Brussee co-founded BossKey with Cliff Bleszinski, another Epic Games alumnus. For now, his work at Epic is being referred to as a “secret project.”

At Boss Key, Brussee wore many hats, including management, production, planning and strategy, finance, and even legal duties. A replacement at Boss Key has not been named as of this writing. Bleszinski commented on Twitter, wishing him well and ending the message with “still makin’ games here.”

This news is notable due to the struggles of LawBreakers , despite positivity leading to release. The game continues to struggle with low player numbers, and Boss Key has noted various possibilities for the future, including a shift to free-to-play or ports to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
