Mad Catz Has Returned From the Dead

Mad Catz Has Returned From the Dead

Practically everyone has heard of Mad Catz. At the very least, everyone knew their names when they declared bankruptcy in 2017. The once popular peripheral manufacturer is apparently set to make a comeback. The people who were working on physically creating many of Mad Catz’s products have now acquired the company. The previous management team is completely recast, and the company plans to be even bigger, badder, and better than ever before.

The revival of Mad Catz will be fully celebrated at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event runs January 9-12, 2018. It is here that the newly reborn Mad Catz will be showing off their recent hard work. Three popular series from the company are getting new iterations and will be available to view at CES. There will be the FREQ (4) gaming headset, STRIKE (4) mechanical keyboard, and RAT (AIR) wireless mouse.

The company promises the return of even more favorites in the future, including the popular GLIDE gaming surfaces. For a company that seemed to run itself into the ground, it seems Mad Catz is coming back with a fury. In the meantime though, what do you think about the return of Mad Catz? Are you amped, or couldn’t care less. Let’s hear you sound off in the comments!
