Dragon Ball FighterZ Datamining May Reveal New Characters

Dataminers are the go-to source for video game news before official announcement, and Dragon Ball FighterZ has been datamined. The prying has revealed some characters that will most likely be playable in the future. The six that seem to be coming are Broly, Bardock, Zamasu, Vegito, Base Goku, and Base Vegeta. There are two other characters who were revealed during the datamine but it seems most likely that they will only be available as avatars: Cooler and Android 17.

All of this information comes from a thread on ResetEra, which includes all kinds of evolving information. There have been some 3D models found of Saiyan Saga Vegeta, which seems to prove he’ll be playable in the game. This goes to show that the other characters listed in the datamine might be more plausible. All of the ones named above were shown in pairs, which has led many to believe that they will be released in three different waves, two at a time. The pairings were as follows: Broly and Bardock, Vegito and Zamasu, and Goku and Vegeta.

Last but certainly not least, the same datamine seems to have uncovered some new modes for the game. Z Union and Z League were the two titles discovered. There is of course no more information available other than the names and the fact that they will most likely be added into the game at some point.

All of this has of course not been confirmed by Bandai Namco. So there’s no definitive way of knowing whether these characters and modes will in fact be added, as well as when. Keep your eyes peeled for possible confirmation from Bandai Namco in the future.
