Turok 1 and 2 Coming to Xbox One in March

Nightdive Studios, recently making headlines for having to put its Kickstarter-funded System Shock project on hiatus, has a bit of good news to kick off this week. While available on PC for some time, the developer’s Turok remasters are making their way to consoles in early March.

On March 2, 2018, specifically, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will drop for the Xbox One. Both games will be priced at $19.99. These ports were announced in 2016, so Turok fans who don’t have Steam accounts have been waiting for a long time.

Turok first reappeared on Steam back in 2015 and was remastered about as well as a Nintendo 64 shooter can be. The PC versions support widescreen and high resolutions, vertical sync, Open GL, achievements, and a ton of new visual effects and minor gameplay improvements.

Originally, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was released on the PC and Nintendo 64 in 1997. The game itself was based on a long-running comic book series that started in 1964.
