Metal Gear Survive to Receive DLC Co-Op Missions in March

Metal Gear Survive has gotten off to a bit of a rough start, but it’s clear that Konami is not going to give up on it any time soon. Starting next month, the game will be getting some new co-op missions. They are being called Rescue Missions, as they’ll involve you and your friend(s) rescuing soldiers in need.

There’s no solid date for when exactly these Rescue Missions will drop. All we know is that they’ll be coming to us some time in March 2018. In their press release for the Rescue Missions, Konami stated that they’re very different when compared to the already existing Salvage Missions, in that teamwork is the name of the game. You’ll have to cooperate with your friends and other players to rescue those soldiers who just need a helping hand.

While that may not be happening until some time next month, Metal Gear Survive already includes daily and weekly missions. These have just become active and will give players the chance to experience different playing strategies. More rewards will be given for completing these daily and weekly missions. They will also have “special battle conditions,” which will require you to think a little differently than usual.

Keep watching Konami’s social medias to see when the co-op Rescue Missions might be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
