Blizzard has announced hero number 27 for Overwatch , and her name is Brigitte. She’s Torbjörn Lindholm’s daughter, is a support class character, and is live now in Overwatch ’s Public Test Region, for the PC version.
Blizzard released a video providing some details on Brigitte’s backstory. While Torbjörn has several children, Brigitte took to the family business and spent years working with Torbjörn as an engineer. During combat, she uses her own custom-built suit of armor, that not only protects her but also provides aid to her teammates.
Brigitte’s ultimate is Rally, which boosts Brigitte’s speed and adds armor to team members in the vicinity. Her weapon is the Rocket Flail, which is a ranged physical weapon that can hit multiple targets in one attack. She can throw Repair Packs that grant health and armor, a Barrier Shield, and a Shield Bash. Her flail can also use Whip Shot, which extends the distance and adds knockback to it, and Inspire, which converts damage to healing nearby teammates.
