Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Patch 4.25 Introduces Eureka

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Patch 4.25 Introduces Eureka

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is getting a pretty sizable expansion very soon, quite literally. Patch 4.25, which comes out on March 13, 2018, will bring a brand new area of gameplay called the Forbidden Land of Eureka. This new location will include all kinds of new ways for people to play and enjoy Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood . There will also be plenty of new story content, as Hildibrand’s tales of adventure continue.

Let’s take a closer look at what the new Forbidden Land of Eureka will bring to players of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood . First off, there will of course be some new rewards. Protean crystals will be awarded for exploring Eureka, and these can then be used to upgrade weapons and gear.

A brand new level to battles has been added specially for Eureka. Players will have a Magia Board which changes the element associated with their attack. This will bring a whole new strategic step into battles where players will have to use opposing elements to their enemies. The Magia Board’s chosen elements will have to be picked before exploring using a Magia Melder. So planning will be crucial as well. This Magia Board is at the heart of Eureka’s new player progression system as well. You’ll gain elemental EXP to power up and better control your use of the elements.

One of the largest (literally) features new to Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood in Eureka is the amount of people who can play at one time. Each instance will allow for up to 144 players at a time. Square Enix suggests that players band together to take on more difficult monsters, and to forge bonds as common goals are achieved.

As a small additional note, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will be enjoying its annual Little Ladies’ Day on March 14. Three emotes will be acquirable through a questline while the Songbirds perform for crowds gathered in Eorzea.
